BYOB; say NO to plastic bags !
Whenever you buy something, please say NO to plastic bags offered by the shop keeper. You can do the BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) campaign by bringing a shopping bag with you all the time and put all the things you buy in that bag. It’s so simple, but it can help us to reduce plastic consumption in the world.
Other countries, such as China, South Africa, Ireland and even Bangladesh, have banned the use of plastic bags by applying tax for shopper who use them or by imposing fees on companies that distribute them (www.msnbc.msn.com). I wonder when Indonesia will start banning them too because it will not only reduce the plastic waste but it will also reduce our import of crude oil.
However, currently I’ve had two bags which always accompany me and they look quite cute though, especially when i use it in traditional market. It becomes the most fashionable shopping bag, compared to Ibu-ibu’s plastic bags =P

cukup butuh effort emang,.
ketika di depan kasir “dengan senyum manis,”ga usah pake plastik mba’”,… dan itu sangat menyenangkan, paling banter mesti siap2 bawa tas kalo ke mall or ke warung, mirisnya yak bawa2 ransel he he.
btw, 2 minggu kmrn pas blanja di KGM, gw salut 2 abg cakep dpn gw juga mlakukan hal yg sama…..

kalo di supermarket,bilang ke mba2 ga usah pake plastik mba..(nambah2in sampah siyh yah,,tapi klao lg butuh ya minta plastik juga,,kyahhhhaa:D)
